Man that thing is built really well!

Nothing looks unatural with the design and you render it very realistically as well.

The lighting is really great as well and you really use it to give the gravity of the situation, that this creature is probably as big as a city!

I think you really got the body really accurate to reality with this piece, so it hits really well and pulls you into this guitar hero idea.

I just love the idea of someone who is a horror monster jamming during their freetime as well, it's not an uncommon idea to do... but it's more about the exicution!

I really love the material feeling on the character.

It has that real look of a latex suit, with scattered reflections and the tightness on the body.

I also think the lighting/environment gives a really interesting vibe to the piece.

It feels a bit surreal, but in a good way.

Your style with this piece is giving me like a Gorrilaz vibe as well which imo is pretty neat.

I'm really interested in seeing more work from you!

I few things you might find interesting: The texture of the outfit was a bit of an accident, because I wanted latex at first, but then when I got into it I softened it into a something more like lycra.

The background is a nuclear test called Operation Wigwam, this plays into the alchemic reference in his pose and specifically the writing and pose of his arm.

The color in the eyes on the main illustration is really fantastic.

You really captured that watercolor look throughout the whole piece, and how you use it in places of shading very lightly is also really smart too.

The character in general also has a lot of emotiveness that makes it really appealing!

Is this one of your own characters or is it based off like an existing property?

I love the colors that come through on the piece.

A lot of pieces on the girl have that oil-rainbow effect to them, which works really well at adding some more color to pop through with lighting.

The poses is also very nice, and seems fairly realistic to the body structure.

I love the effects in the background that give this feeling and look of "confusion".

The eyes in the shirt and the general line art of the piece are also really fantastic.

The hands are also pretty good for the style of drawing too.

I wonder what you could do focusing on the other major senses of the body for separate pieces... probably something cool.

I love the emotion of Bowser here.

He really gives you the sense of "Haha gottem".

I also just really love the simpler linework which has a lot of the style coming through without using shading.

I definitely can see that you enjoyed making the piece.

I love the linework of the piece!

It has so much variety throughout, really giving a lot of feeling to the materials on the character.

The hatching on the hoodie is really well done, and the simple shading is really clean too.

Do you like to do your pencil work as if you were doing an ink piece instead?

It really has that cool feeling of what inking can be like to make textures and such.

Thank you! For the longest time i wouldn't go beyond a sketch, and when i did, i just used a crappy G-pen with solid lines that looked cheap, and never right. I started using Eigaka's brush in ClipStudio, and I really enjoy the weight of it, so once I lay down a base sketch, I just work on top of it as though it were and ink brush, and play with line thickness a lot. It's incredibly satisfying, and I've been enjoying feeling out this brush.

I really enjoy how much character you bring through with this portrait just through the linework!

It's a nice cartoonist style, kind of reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes with how the line is used with specific features like arm hair, glasses, and wrinkles.

I feel like if you did a digital wash of watercolor over the linework, you could help fill some of the empty space with some depth.

Either way, really nice piece and I hope to see more from you!

I really appreciate being compared to Calvin and Hobbes. I get a lot of inspiration from those strips.

I really love the color and shading of the piece!

It has a nice mellow feeling with the darker purple and golden jacket, which also compliment one another.

The framing with the plant is also really smart, as it interacts with the person as well.

I hope to see some more cool pieces from you in the future!
